Picture this scenario. You have every intention of going to bed and having a good night sleep but your head cannot switch off. It keeps reminding you of all the things you should’ve done, the things you’ve got to do and all the things you are to remember what they are! Your mind is overactive, overworking and you can’t sleep no matter what you try.… READ MORE >

The Supplements Industry growing faster day-by-day, with around £385 million of supplements being sold in 2012 (source: www.dailymail.co.uk). It is great that people are genuinely interested in their health, however are we being enticed into only looking at part of the problem rather than addressing the full picture of health such as diet, lifestyle, exercise, rest and thoughts.

A few years ago I was absolutely dreading turning 40 and it is kind of weird because two years on, I am loving being in my forties!
For me, being in my forties doesn’t feel like I am over the hill, I would describe it more that I am standing on top of the hill, where I can look at my past, embrace it, learn … READ MORE >
You may think this is a strange message from someone who is into health & fitness, although what I am into even more than that is coaching people to have ‘a great relationship with yourself about food’. If you LOVE chocolate then WHY try and fight it!

HIIT is IT
I loved doing H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts in 2012! My clients loved it too ‘after the session of course’. We sprinted outside, used a stair master or cross trainer: 1m hard, 1m rest and repeat 10 times. Effective with a capital E and fab for fat burner.

This is a great question which ultimately will depend on what results you wish to see. Clients instantly tell me that they feel better, motivated and inspired from just one coaching or personal training session with me.
As for physical results, losing body fat etc….this will depend on each individuals, commitment, time they can invest and their current health and life circumstances. On average the majority of my clients see a huge difference within 4-8 weeks (this is based on a minimum of 2 sessions per week either via phone coaching or in person)
No you certainly do not, thanks to technology you can live anywhere and work with me. I presently have clients in London, Wales, Dubai, Usa and New Zealand we use viber, skype and the phone to undertake our coaching sessions. I often take people through different exercise programmes using Skype to check technique and comprehension of certain exercises. I then email them personally designed exercise programmes straight into their inbox so they can follow them in their own time and we catch up once or twice a week to monitor progression, lifestyle circumstances (stress) and solutions. I even have a few clients that pay for me to coach them during their holidays, or weekends and I fly out to them – oh I so love my job!
Most definitely as many vegetarians have already successfully completed the Feel Good Detox. In fact I too am a vegetarian so I have lots of experience of learning how to add variety and especially proteins into my diet from non-animal sources. Like chick peas, lentils, quinoa, beans, tofu to name a few. All of this information is shared during the Feel Good Detox coaching guides that you receive every day for 28 days. It will provide you with lots of ideas for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinners as a healthier vegetarian.
I would say that I have been in the industry for over 20 years and have lots of experience both professionally and personally: as personal trainer, nutritional life coach, a mother, working long hours and unhappy with my own health. As a personal trainer I spent years telling people what to do and when to do it, which I have now learnt only provides short-term goals for my clients as the relationship can become co-dependent. My approach now is more about coaching asking my clients ‘questions’ instead of ‘telling them’ so my clients can learn and develop for themselves independently.
My business tag line is life changing health & fitness which actually came from my clients experiences of working with me, as they would often reflect that all areas of their lifes had changed in some way, not just how much they weighed! I also personally avoid quick-fixes or lose a dress size as you sneeze – approach to marketing. Instead I meet people actually where they are in their lives, with what they want both short and long term so they can achieve their goals and enjoy the benefits for life.
This is absolutely dependable upon your time, your finances, what you want and when you want it. Ideally at the beginning stages I would suggest a minimum of 2 sessions per week for the first 6 weeks and taper this down after this point dependable upon your ability to work independently. My main driver is just that, so you become independent so you can coach yourself and motivate yourself. My more affluent clients may have 3 to 4 sessions per week and less financially fortunate my work with me once/twice a month and practices my teachings within their own time or gym environment.
